April 17, 2008New York Women in Communications Invites You to a Private Screening of What’s Your Point, Honey?
Followed by an Intimate Q&A Session with Directors/Producers Amy Sewell and Susan Toffler
Six years ago, CosmoGIRL! and The White House Project joined forces, creating Project 2024, to get more young women involved in politics so that we could see a day when just as many women as men run for the highest office in the country – getting beyond gender to agenda.
WHAT’S YOUR POINT, HONEY? puts a new face on political leadership when it follows seven Project 2024 interns and ther political aspirations. Interwoven in this, an enlightening examination of how kids and teens in America would work toward political change. The result is refreshing, jolting and comical.
It’s not a matter of if, but when a woman will become president of the United States. Will it be 2008? 2012? 2024? Who knows!?! What we do know is that it’s inevitable. She’s out there somewhere and just who she might be and when she’ll take charge is changing from a fantasy to a reality. Additional information is available on www.whatsyourpointhoney.com
