Catherine-Mercedes Judge

Catherine-Mercedes Judge, was born and raised in San Francisco but after completion of the Union Semester Program, she transferred to Queens College (CUNY). She is a senior majoring in Urban Studies with a concentration in Labor and Women’s Studies. She works as the coordinator for the Women’s Committee of the NYC Carpenter’s Union, helping plan and conduct programming to increase the retention of women in the industry. Besides NYWICI, she is a member of GABRIELA Network’s New York/New Jersey chapter, organizing around the issues of violence against women and labor and sex trafficking.
