Dara Adeeyo

Dara Adeeyo is a student at Hofstra University (Class of 2011). She is a print journalism major but seems to find herself interning at either Web-based publications or the Web department of a print publication. She has been a member of NYWICI since March 2008. Dara has a s trong passion for fashion, magazines and the Internet. Her ideal job would be working in either the Web or fashion department of a teen, fashion or women’s magazine. Dara also has a strong passion for teen girl issues; she hopes that one day she can tie her love of magazines, the Web, fashion and teen girl issues into one. Currently she is the Editorial Editor at her school’s newspaper, president of the Ed2010 Hofstra Chapter, president and cofounder of the Hofstra fashion club, a loving Resident Assistant, a mentor for the Big Brothers/Big Sisters program of Long Island and is going on a two-year unhealthy obsession with cupcakes (!!).
