Kelli Plasket

Kelli Plasket (nextBLOG Editor-in-Chief) is a senior at The College of New Jersey, where she is double majoring in Interactive Multimedia and Journalism so that she can combine her love of writing with her love of Web-based media into a career.  Kelli became involved in NYWICI when TCNJ alum and former NEXT Editor-in-Chief Tammy Tibbetts asked her to help redesign the e-newsletter.  Kelli was a designer for the newsletter and blog and has now moved up to Editor-in-Chief of nextBLOG.  She is also the 2008 recipient of the Women in New Media scholarship and the 2009 recipient of the Alumna Award of Excellence from the New York Women in Communications Foundation.  Back on campus, Kelli is also involved in TCNJ’s chapter of Ed2010 as the vice president and is Web Editor for the student newspaper The Signal.  She aspires to become a Web editor at a New York-based publication, especially one that would allow her to enjoy her love of pop culture, technology or education.
