Lauren Horn

Lauren Horn is a 3^rd year journalism major at Northeastern University in Boston.  She plans to minor in both music industry and political science just as soon as she fills out the necessary paperwork.  While she loves journalism, she plans to go into public relations when she graduates.  Don’t bother asking who, what or where she plans to publicize, because she has no idea.  Lauren has interned in corporate communications at Scholastic, Inc., at the foundation of The Boston Globe, and at her local weekly newspaper on Long Island.  She writes articles and blogs when she can, but lately most of her time has gone to trying to save the world with her student community service organization, Social Change through Peace Games, where she serves as Vice President (read: jack of all trades).  Lauren loves music, and spends any extra time she has playing viola in Northeastern’s orchestra, trying to get better at playing guitar and spending too much money on concert tickets.  She’d love to hear from you.  E-mail her at lhorn0817 [at] yahoo [dot] com.
