Selena Shen

Selena Shen is a rising senior at New York University. As a Communications major, she has become an expert media critic and editrix. Born and raised in New York, Selena loves to scrapbook, blog, discover beats, and eat challah bread. She is an avid picture taker, believes in the power of bubble tea, and would give up her first born to be half as glamorous and elegant as Audrey Hepburn. Her natural highs include sunflowers, rainshowers, wit, and ambition.

She is a 2007 NYWICI Scholarship winner and active member of the NYWICI community. Selena is fluent in two dialects of Chinese and is currently interning in Weber Shandwick New York offices at Current Lifestyle Marketing, an IPG company, through the influential and inspirational connections she has made through NYWICI. She recently studied abroad in Mexico to improve her Spanish and further her education of the role of media in foreign countries because, quite frankly, the world’s a stage and Selena is going to be its star.
