Sydney Lowe
Sydney Lowe will be a college freshman matriculating at Colgate University this fall. At her high school in Queens she was a proud staff member of both her school newspaper, The Classic, and literary magazine, The Phoenix. She also held positions as student life editor and editor-in-chief of her school’s 2009 Yearbook. When she isn’t editing, Sydney can usually be found exploring her native New York City complete with a camera, a fashion magazine and Blackberry in tow. She aspires to one day become a successful fashion editor at a women’s magazine (fingers-crossed for Teen Vogue!) This summer she will be an intern at fashion and beauty PR Firm Trachtenberg & Company —a connection she acquired thanks to NYWICI! Sydney is excited to embark on the next chapter in her life and is even more thrilled that New York Women In Communications is there to help her on her way!
