Zanade Mann

Ever since Zanade Mann was a young girl she was destined to be in the world of communications; from waking up every Saturday morning and giving lectures to her Barbie dolls to preparing speeches for her friends and family. Born and raised in Staten Island, New York Zanade knew there was a bigger world out there and began her consequential journey. Throughout her teen years Zanade expressed herself on numerous topics such as women’s equality and began writing articles in hopes of future publication.  Later on she developed a passion for mentoring young girls and implemented The Pink Polka Dot Organization where she is currently the Executive Director and manages over ten staff members. To perfect her craft Zanade is enrolled in CUNY’s Hunter College where she is majoring in English and Media Studies. She is also writing her first novel An Ugly Me.  Her social goals are to uplift communities throughout the country by providing motivational speeches and programs to young women, and finally putting a new face in the non profit sector. Professionally she plans to publish many books on diverse topics, and eventually bring her passion to television by hosting a talk show for young women everywhere.
